I create two and three dimensional neon art. Lately that has been in the form of public and private commissions. I also facilitate neon work for other artists, specializing in complex animation and intricate neon bending. A video of me at work...

Neon Celebrate! stamp ride 1819 saturday

Some of my public works can be seen in Tokyo, Los Angeles and Minneapolis. In 2010, I was commissioned to design a postage stamp for the USPS known as the Celebrate! stamp. In 2017, I received the Columbus College of Art & Design Alumni Award for Excellence—an award given to an alumnus who has earned prominence as a result of outstanding professional or artistic achievement in their chosen field. Recently, RIDE/K2, a snowboard manufacturing company got in touch with me about using my neon artwork "Hot Dog! : Homage to my Father” on one of their snowboards for the 2018 season. The design features one of those cats you often see in Japanese restaurants with his arm waving below a hot dog...all in neon. We agreed upon a price, including the delivery of one of the snowboard to me as part of the contract. The "SATURDAY" board went on sale this fall from RIDE and I am the proud owner of one of them!
